What counts as LLM usage?
Every AI job uses tokens from the agent's configured model. The free tier includes approximately $5/month of usage on our shared API keys, which is roughly 100 Claude Sonnet conversations or 500 Haiku calls.
What's BYOK?
Bring Your Own Key. Add your Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter API key in your organization settings. All LLM costs go directly to your provider account. The Daslab workspace is free.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free tier and BYOK are both available without a credit card. Just install the CLI or download the iOS app and start using Daslab.
Can I switch between Free and BYOK?
Yes. You can add or remove your API key at any time. When you have a key configured, all LLM calls use your key. When you don't, you use the included free tier allocation.
Which AI agent is used?
Daslab defaults to a Claude Sonnet agent but adapts based on your scene. You can switch agents per conversation, or bring your own API key to use any model from Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter.
What about Apple's 30% cut?
We're keeping pricing consistent across platforms. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store include Apple's fee. You can also manage your subscription through the web.
